fill in the blank interaction

Jul 23, 2013

I would like to have a table which the user must complete from memory based on the information they have learned in the course.  Is there a way to let them "fill in the blank" and then reveal the answers?  I don't need to capture their response, it's just a way for them to review and check their answers?

Thanks, Katherine

Hi Katherine! Welcome to the community! Thanks for joining the forum and for posting your question here. What you're looking to do is definitely achievable in Storyline. You could do it using a standard Storyline fill-in-the-blank quiz slide, with a Results slide that lets users Review their answers. Here's some information on how to insert a quiz slide and result slides: Build Quizzes and Result Slides

Or, you could set up a more customized fill in the blank interaction yourself, using data entry boxes, and using layers to reveal the answers. If you'd like to further explore this option, let me know and I can help you out =) Hope this helps for now!!
