Fill in the Blank Quiz Question: Score a free-form value without assigning a correct text response

Jun 16, 2017

e-Learning Heroes,

I need your help.  I am trying to create a quiz question to issue students credit for doing the some self-paced practice problems.  The idea is they go off and perform several practices problems, then come back to the module and in the Quiz answer fields type in the output numbers from their practice problems.  They need to perform at least one practice problem so I need to be able to have multiple fill in the blank fields, but give them a "correct" response and full score if they enter in a minimum of 1 field.  Also, the values are all going to be different.  Is there a way to create a fill in the blank text field question, where 1 or all fields can be filled in with text and the question is graded as correct, as long as one text field has something in it?

Hi Joy

see attached sample. I used a Pick One freeform slide with two offstage buttons (correct and incorrect) that drive the interaction. I have two data entry fields. If the user leaves both blank they get an Incorrect feedback layer - If they enter anything into either field they get the correct feedback layer.

Hope this helps or gives you an idea.
