Trying to wrap my head around the ins and outs of storyline and elearning more broadly and would love your feedback on my first mini project : )
In particular, I'd appreciate any feedback on having audio play without a marker at the beginning - I felt like it was a bit awkward whether I had one in or not.
Hi Sam, I think it looks good! It would be nice if the words earth, fire, water, and air would appear in the circles when the audio reaches that point. Although I didn't finish the course I was having trouble remembering what signs went with what elements. Nice work.
Looks like you're off to a good start just needs a bit of tweaking. You'll quickly learn you never finish having ideas to tweak your modules lol.
Perhaps have an intro screen that fades out to the circle images. It felt like I was thrown straight into the content.
I got to the quiz but I wasn't really paying attention so didn't know the answers and couldn't go back or bring up any extra info to answer them so was stuck there.
Thanks for the feedback Shelby! Great idea and yes I definitely think there could be another method of teaching the content before jumping right to the assessment.
Do you have any hard and fast guideline for how much time you spend delivering /exploring content before moving towards understanding checks?
Thanks for the feedback Tristan! Hahah yes it definitely seems like I could spend forever iterating and improving - a dangerous temptation! Good call on the fade in/provision of some sort of intro. Will keep this in mind on my continuing mini experiments. Cheers, Sam
