FREE-BEE Download: Storyline 1 and 2 Background Changer samples, files and instructions

Hi Everyone:

Last winter during one or another of the dark dreary days we had, out of sheer boredom I suppose, I challenged myself with what turned out to be an interesting objective. I wanted Storyline to control the background of the it's host window...

The result was really interesting and I felt this would be very useful when creating interactive scenarios against photographic backdrops. My immediate idea was to create something where the learner would have to interact with the webpage background to complete an interaction - something like the learner having to turn the ignition key, then pull up on the turn signal, and so on... where Storyline acted like an overlay to the photographic backdrop.

What I came up with works in all browsers, works with all Storyline outputs (Flash, HTML5, and un-supported) and works in all Storyline versions. It was a great deal of fun and a great challenge to make this product as simple to set up as it is - I could have made it really complicated to setup :)
