Free illustrated avatars! Do you want to create your own avatars?
Sep 17, 2016
Although the internet is full of visuals which we can use while creating our courses, I really like to create my own materials to make the course more personal. I have checked many online avatar creators, unfortunately, most of them are not satisfying as they don't let you download your avatar as transparent png or vector format.
Last week, I came across this website; http://www.hexatar.com/
It lets you create your own flat design avatars and then download them as .svg or png.
I have created two female avatars while playing it. Then, I put the finishing touches in Illustrator, it wasn't necessary, though.
I attached png and svg files. You can open svg files with Adobe illustrator, Gimp or Inkspace.

Thanks for sharing Ridvan - how long did it take you to create these two excluding the Illustrator bit?
It is difficult to say. (I did some housework in between :) I think I spent about one hour.
