Free Jeopardy Style Game Template

Aug 28, 2016

Hi everyone,

A new game template is here. Actually, I created this game a few months ago for one of my friends who works in a public school as an EFL teacher.

She asked me to create a game similar to Jeopardy that she could use in the class. So, teacher chooses the players and controls the other things.

I shared this template in another community discussion which you can reach here; http://goo.gl/Moj45B  Then, David suggested me to share it here.

Jeopardy Game Template

In this classroom game, teacher divides students into three groups. Players choose a question they want and question screen appears. They have to guess the English meaning of the word given in Turkish in twenty seconds. When they do it correctly, teacher clicks on thumb up icon and they get the point.

I tried to make it more fun with background music and countdown. Her students loved the game, hope you enjoy it too.

Hi Heather,

First, I created three different scores,

Second, I put there a transparent rectangle which changes to 'hidden' state when players choose a character. So they can choose a question box.

Third, I used a trigger which increases the score of the player which is chosen.

To show the scores on the screen, write %score%, when it is chosen go to 'reference' and click on + (plus) to create a new variable. Your score will be seen on the screen. I don't know if there is an easier way to show the scores, but this is the way I use.

I hope this can help. If there is anything else I can do, I would be happy to help.
