I am working on a module where students learn about different study skills. One of the scenes will be about tips for improving your GPA. I was thinking it might be a cool to add a GPA calculator to the scene as well. Any one have an examples of how this could be done in Storyline?
I'm sure this can be done in Storyline, but before you go there, it may be easier to just display one of the many, many available GPA calculators in a web object.
Here is a quick example that I put together to help you get started. I'm not quite sure what criteria you needed to calculate the GPA, so I just used the standard scale where an A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0 and F = 0.0.
There are definitely a lot of ways to improve upon this sample (Error checking, asking how many grades the user wants to add other than the 3 I placed in this example and more), but it should at least get you moving in the right direction hopefully. Let me know if you have any questions.
Its a great example, Mark. I tried to test it and I was very surprised. It's totally the best software to calculate GPA. I was looking for this a lot and find one interesting article. It is a greatarticle about how to calculate GPA that helps me to organize thoughts or studying marks in a way that is more comprehensible. In my opinion you can try it too.

I thought of that as well. We have one of those on our website for students to calculate their GPA.

You can test the example HERE
