Help! How do I create navigational branching in Articulate storyline?

Aug 16, 2017

I need to create clickable objects on a slide which will take the learner to different branching scenarios in the presentation. I want each object to complete after the learner clicks on it the first time and complete the entire interaction on the slide after each clickable object is completed.

What's the best way to accomplish the above? (Please see attached navigation slide.)

Thanks.

Hi Marlene,

I'm not seeing the navigation slide you're referring to. Did you forget to attach it?

From what I understand, it sounds like you need to:

  1. Insert your objects on a slide
  2. Add "visited" states to your objects so learners can tell which objects they've clicked on
  3. Add "jump to" triggers to your objects so that when learners click, it brings them to the appropriate interaction within your course.

Here are some links that may be useful for you in setting this up:

I hope that answers your question! If not, let me know! :)
