Help me with the Mager Model
Aug 27, 2012
Hello all,
I've stepped into a project that incorporates the Mager Model and I'm trying to find out more about it.
The strategy document I'm looking at was started by a consultant and I'm picking it up to revise and execute the project. It currently references the Mager Model and outlines self-study (eLearning) and exercises followed by a Q&A web session. I've always considered these elements of "blended learning" and didn't know there was a corresponding model by that name. I'd like to learn more about it but I can't seem to find any resources online.
I'm familiar with Robert Mager's Criterion Referenced Instruction but I don't think that's what this is. I figured I'd dip into this brilliant crew before I spend too much time randomly hunting.
Looking forward to your input!
Natalia

The Mager model that comes to mind for me is his Performance Analysis one (which is great stuff by the way!) You can see a copy via the Amazon search inside feature for his book "Analyzing Performance Problems: Or, You Really Oughta Wanna--How to Figure out Why People Aren't Doing What They Should Be, and What to do About It"

Thank you, Mike!

Don't know if that helps you further, Natalia.
