Help Wanted! Creative ID for large project overflow ...

Aug 01, 2011

Hi there Gang,

Yes, I thought of going to eLance or Freelancer or ODesk, etc, but somehow I like the supportive feel in here, and besides, I need someone who works with Articulate enough to want to join this forum!

I am pretty flat out right now.  My client is a training provider in the finance and mortgage broking industry.  They are undertaking an ambitious and pretty groovy launch in October of among other things, eLearning content for their subscribers.  In short, I have been engaged to deliver 19 learning objects before then and I have completed two thus far.  These two courses will provide the template for the others, so the design work will be predominantly instructional rather than graphic.  The rest of the work consists of podcasts, videos and webinars, all of which I will be responsible for.

Your mission is to help me:

1.  Convert existing FOUR webinars (consisting of an audio track, slides and video of the presentation) into quality eLearning courses using my template as a ... well, template...

2.  Develop TWO eLearning courses from existing material (PP slides, word docs and online references)

3.  Ensure the results are created with the utmost integrity and care, with the end user at the forefront of every decision.  No compromises!

If you would like to be involved, you must be able to demonstrate your proficiency in developing quality eLearning objects, be available now and able to deliver quickly and effectively.

Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you soon.

Oh, and I will be passing on the client's full budgeted payments to you for the course development with no "fees" deducted.  The work will be completed on a project basis, rather than an hourly rate.

Look forward to hearing from some 'talented cookies' soon,

Craig

Wow, I made the right decision.

Thanks so much for your interest in helping out.  I appreciate it very much.  I have some great options now and the messages I have received overnight give me great confidence that I'll be able to meet the expectations and deadlines required easily.

Today, I will visit the work examples and look over the CVs for the best fit.  Tomorrow, I'll follow up and let you know which way I've chosen to go.

Thanks so much again.  Great site!

Hi All,

Just want to sincerely thank those who responded to my call for help.  I had 10 talented, passionate and enthusiastic responses within 24 hours.  It's fantastic to now know I can confidently accept these projects and have the ability to share the work with a great bunch of people.

For this project, I've chosen to work with a designer who lives just down the road from us here in Brisbane (in Australia, that means under 500 kilometres).  Same time zone and ability to meet face to face was too good to refuse.

Thank you again,

Craig
