Help with a storyline file that requires sorting

Dec 07, 2018

Hi All,

I'm building an exercise where participants sort through a series of cards to ultimately identify their top 5-6 choices.  Its been about a year since I've designed extensively in storyline and I've taken this about as far as I can on my own.  Anyone willing to take a look and provide suggestions on the file?

Thanks for looking Allison.  I need to be able to pull the top motivator from each scene (1.1-1.7) and show it on the final scene like a results page.  I can't actually use a results page though because the answers are based on participant choice without any correct/incorrect responses.  I'd also love to add a button to have the results emailed to participants as well.

Hi Danielle,

Why not do it all on one slide instead of multiple slides? That way you don't have to deal with variables. Check out the attached file to see how I would do it.

Regarding your question about adding a button to email the results: unfortunately, that's not currently possible. I would ask your learners to take a screenshot and email it to them that way.

If the ability to do this would make authoring in Storyline easier for you, please log a feature request to tell us more.
