Hi I am trying to create a slide with 6 hexagons that when clicked display a text box or something with course content in it. The boxes do not need to stay visible when the next shape is clicked and it doesn't matter what order they are clicked.
Make sure you're assigning a button set to your hexagons, that way your hexagons will work well together, and you can change your visited/selected state to hidden so they disappear when clicked.

exactly what Chris said,
and then have a layer for each of the hexagon - (settings: hide other layers)
- show layer when hexagon clicked.
