Hiding elements on slide

Hi all.  I need some more help with building in A360.  I have a slide that starts with a full-screen video, and then at a specific point on the timeline the video will be hidden by instructions, a data entry box, and a Submit button (and the video should pause at that time to let the student read and respond).  Then I need the instructions and data entry box to go away when the student clicks the submit button and the video to start playing again.

It seems like this should be as easy as hiding the data entry box when the student clicks the submit button, but I can't see an option to do that (I can hide the instructions and the button though). I can't seem to find an option that will make the video appear and play from the paused point when the submit button is clicked. I'm not even sure if pausing the video or pausing the timeline is the right strategy before that point--I'm assuming that I need to pause the timeline because once the video starts there are additional on-screen elements that need to come up at various times. Any suggestions out there?
