Job Description |
Content Media Specialists design and develop e-learning courses from prepared transcripts in preexisting templates using sound instructional design techniques and utilizing reusable learning objects. Content is delivered in SCORM format using authoring tools such as Storyline, Articulate, Lectora, Captivate or Camtasia and may include audio or video elements as necessary. Content Media Specialists report directly to the Director of Content Operations. - Translate prepared transcripts into online course outputs using adult learning instructional principles under guidance of Instructional Architect and Director of Content Operations. - Create, edit and produce audio and video for use in courses and LMS - Troubleshoot technical course problems |
Skills/Requirements |
- Proficient with eLearning and design tools such as Lectora, Captivate, Articulate Studio and/or Storyline, PowerPoint, Camtasia, Photoshop, MLearning Technologies, etc. - Advanced in the use of Microsoft Office software including Word & PowerPoint - Familiarity with SharePoint 2010, Flash, HTML 5, JavaScript, SCORM & LMS operation - Ability to learn new ideas and new software at an advanced pace - Undergraduate or graduate degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology/Media, Training and Development or relevant field, or comparable work experience. www.essentiallearning.com jobs posted at parent company www.reliaslearning.com |
