how do I find full templates for Storyline 2?

Jun 12, 2017

Hi,

I'm looking for templates for Storyline 2 that are similar in breadth to the "Velocity" template.  Is there no simple way to filter all the options in the templates section? I don't want to weed through ALL the Storyline templates when plenty aren't applicable to the version I have.  Also, it's deceiving to list "Storyline" in the title only to click on it to find out that it only works in Storyline 360. I feel like I'm wasting time trying to find proper templates that work in SL2.

Is there someplace I can sort/filter based on only wanting to search SL2 templates?

Thanks.

Hi Karen!

I'm sorry you're finding it hard to find what you're looking for on the downloads hub!

With the newer downloads we've been including several versions of the file (Storyline 2, Storyline 3, and/or Storyline 360) a lot of times, which is why the version is no longer noted in the title of the download.

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a filter that allows you to search for Storyline 2 templates specifically. That's a great suggestion though so I made a note of it and hopefully we'll be able to do that down the line.

When you say that you're looking for something similar to the Velocity template in breadth, could you be more specific about what you mean? I'm happy to try and help you find what you're looking for!

Let me know :)

HI Allison
Thanks for your response.
The Velocity template I currently have, is very full and complete. It has template files for 30 or so different screens, layouts etc. that all coordinate in look and style. When I browse the templates on the articulate website, most seem to be only for a particular interaction, 1 layout etc. They are not full and complete sets. Does that make sense?

Hi Karen!

Yes, I see what you mean. We don't have any other templates like that for Storyline 2, but if you subscribe to Articulate 360 you'll have access to a TON of templates like that in Content Library. If you haven't checked Articulate 360 out yet, I would doing that by downloading a free trial.

Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
