I am a middle man between content and design development. I create courses and evaluate them before they go into production. We work in education and compliance.
Any suggestions on how to find content experts. It's not as difficult with educational requirements. However it is difficult to find HR & Environmental context experts. Any suggestions?
Interesting dilemma! Thanks for bringing your question here to the E-Learning Heroes forum. Usually when people produce courses they have access to a Subject Matter Expert (aka content expert), so it's interesting that you don't have one in your situation.
Have you thought about using LinkedIn to find experts in that field? Might be a good approach.
Another option would be trade groups.... Pretty much every profession today has multiple industry/trade groups. For example: For the HR folks you mention, there is SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) which is the broadest. And sub-specialties like Recruiters etc have their own trade groups.
