How does AO decide how to display course sequencing in the learner portal? Alpha numeric doesn't seem to work

Sep 23, 2016

I am trying to get courses to list in a specific order in the learner portal, and I have seen all of the posts that lead to this.

However, this is not what we are looking for, and it's too clunky. I just want to understand what method is used when AO determines how to display the sequencing of courses within the user portal. Doesn't seem to be alpha-numeric, is it the order in which it is published to AO (doesn't seem like that either). I have tested both methods and can not find consistency.

I don't need to necessarily restrict them from moving ahead, I just want the courses to be displayed in the correct order.

Ideas?

Lamma, I've had exactly the same issues. I have about 30 published courses within my Articulate Online LMS, and regardless of how I try to order them - AO just doesn't want to obey.

I've tried alpha, numeral order and even tried to do numeral by points (e.g. 1.1, 1.2 etc.)

I don't really think there is a way to do this but I'm definitely interested as I had almost given up.
