How to make a quote?

Hi,
how are you organized when you have to do a quote?

Do you usually use and follow fixed patterns that you adapt to new potential customers, or any time is a new story?

How do you organize yourself when you have to do a price without first seeing the materials that will be the course contents? It happens, for example, to only have a chapter index from which to start!

And what if you have to "convert" in an e-learning training something that was previously carried out only in the classroom? Which one is the best direction to follow to predict time and labor costs?
