Question: When working with "Markers" we can click on them and it'll show the text which is good. However, I would like everything to dim accept the Markers text box (for added focus). Does anybody have any solutions to this?
I did something similar to what Przemek did in my original post. However, I deleted that post after I realized that what works for 1 marker doesn't work for multiple markers.
Markers are automatically programmed so that after you click one to view its info, you can simply click a different marker to view its info -- and the info for the first marker with automatically hide again. That type of clicking would mess up the programming used to dim the background.
Thus, I think it'd be easier to just create buttons that look like markers but that access layers. And then set up the layers to achieve the desired look for presenting the content.
This is one idea with two or more markes. But like Judy said it will be difficult to have two or more open markers at the same time so it is better to go with custom design.
If the Dim object was behind all of the markers you could show a layer that hides the other markers, would need a layer for each marker, but no triggers as I would use the layer timeline f=to hide the markers
