Ideas for a "style" needed...

Hi,

Been working for almost 10 months on 5 courses with another ID, and we have been allowed to create some wonderful "Comic Book" style course - which have been brilliantly received

They will be going on classroom training now, and then back to 2 more online learning sessions.

If you could create these remaining two online courses in any way - what would you LOVE to do?

  • Purely black and white maybe?
  • Film noir?
  • The Adventures of Errol the Frog?

Cannot promise, but perhaps you will be the inspiration that will get used!

Bruce,

So fun! I'm actually in the middle of working with a multimedia guru to create my first comic book course that is animated. Cannot WAIT to see the end product!

Anyway, could you provide a brief description of the content? I generally need the gist of the content to get inspiration on how it might be best displayed creatively. However, for some reason, I wish "The Adventures of Errol the Frog" was a course right now so I could take it -  I wouldn't even care what the topic is, I would just want to see it!

Keepi'n the joy,

Patti

No idea of content yet - sorry. Will be to do with Market Research techniques.........

I completely made up Errol the Frog...... tho' it sounds so good I may have to invent him

I see him as very plump - and wearing tweeds.....

The illustrator who created my "Story Lion" character is brilliant at such things :)

What a wonderful example! If a commercial opportunity doesn't arise, perhaps you could use the style for a promotional trailer to advertise your services.

Love all the inspiration in this community!

I have a couple of plans for demo's for when I update my site in the next couple of months.  Mainly because most of my work is covered by an NDA and Ilike the idea of having some aspirational stuff on the site.

Regarding how to do it, I think some ppt videos some fly in animations, perhaps some animated gifs, the orginal images for this were rubber stamps

would be good to have a few animated section breaks and the bring in the content, perhaps colour coding the individual sections

This is something I would love to do in a similiar fashion. It's isnt' completely animated but there are slight movement effects in some of the drawings that give it a interesting feel.

Thanks Jerson - I would LOVE to create something like that!

Immediately thinking of "....For I am Sales Operations - gatekeeper of ALL selling processes...", (or something like that anyway   )

Thanks again.
