Ideas for Virtual Participant Guides

Hi all,
I am currently building a series of foundational courses for reps interested in transitioning to roles supporting another line of business. I am currently supporting these needs with a series of VILT solutions. However, I'm a bit stumped with how to develop and provide a "customizable, virtual" participant's guide to support each training.
In consideration of the existing climate, I am looking for ways to provide learners with opportunities to customize participant guides in this "virtual" environment. Any ideas, peeps? All suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks! :)

Hi Kari,
Sounds like an interesting project! Can you be more specific about what kinds of things you'd like to include in the participant guide and in what way you want them to be customizable? I'm thinking it may help people come up with possible solutions if they have a little more context.
Hi Allison! Thanks for the reply. Essentially, I am trying to replicate the ILT experience, whereby I provide a series of job aids/ takeaways for the participant. These materials strategically have holes/ missing information, which requires the participant to “write in” key info to create a complete job aid. It also allows for a notes/ misc. section that allows the learner to write in notes to self. In a ILT setting, I can easily print out the materials, but I am looking for a way to “virtually” create the same experience, allow users to customize materials. Make sense? Hope this adds some clarity. 😊
Hi Kari,
That makes sense! It sounds like fillable PDFs may be your best option. That way, users can easily save and print them once they've filled in their answers/added their notes. If you do a quick search online, you'll find a number of tools that allow you to create those.
I hope that's helpful!
Can you give some examples of the tools that let you do this? I've googled and looked into this, and maybe I'm just missing something, but I haven't found any tools. Does anyone have a recommendatioin?
maybe this https://create-fillable-pdf.com
another thought - if your doing a Zoom/Teams mtg, do you want your audience filling in their notes or listening to the presenter? I like to write in my notes, draw connecting lines between notes and just add some extra thoughts. All of these would not be done with the fillable PDF (my opinion).
