IE11 Problems and SCORM

Jun 30, 2015

Recently, we came across an IE11 issue where our multiple SCO projects were not displaying the subsequent SCOs after the 1st SCO was completed.  We searched through various blogs and found the issue with Compatibility.  We are currently on IE10 and it just happened that one of our learners called us to find out why one of our new Cap8 courses didn't work.  We found the person had IE11.  We tested (in IE11) and found the course worked perfectly in SCORM Cloud and so we figured that it had something to do with our LMS Meridian.  We checked the LMS setting and regardless of what we had the TOC would not show up.  We could launch the 1st SCO and beyond that it didn't work.  We tried the coding for the htm file on one of the blogs that requires you to enter it at the <head> of the file but that didn't work.  What did work was going into the compatibility view settings of IE and typing the webpage to the LMS.  Make sure not to check the Use Microsoft compatibility lists.  To remedy this potential problem when we fully convert over to IE12, we are going to ask our Technology Team to push the compatibility setting to all our users now.  I hope this helps!
