My current project required me to include an images-based MCQ where the images were coming out too small and needed to be enlarged (to see the details in it) before selecting any of them as an answer.
Just wanted to share with you the way I did this...
1. Use 'Pick One' quiz slide to present the question.
2. Use layers to enlarge the images (when user hovers over them).
3. Change the states of the images on the base layer (the options) to 'selected' when user clicks on the enlarged images on respective layers, right there. (This is as good as clicking on the base layer in this case.)
