Importing Player Resources

Mar 14, 2017

I created a 12-module course for a client a few months back that looks and works great!  The client is a paper mill and some of their internal computers have problems (to say the least).  Since the course is so large and the end-users are having trouble resuming the course (due to their internal problems) the client would like each module to function as a stand-alone course.  How can I import the course player menu, resources, and glossary without copying and pasting each component?

Hi Sandra. Congrats on creating a great-looking and great-working course for your client! W00t!

If I'm understanding you correctly, it sounds like you'd like to break your course's modules out into separate smaller courses without having to recreate the course player settings for each one? If that's the case, you could just make a copy of the original .story project file. Then, open up the copy, strip out the modules you don't need and save it with a new file name. You'd simply repeat this process for all 12 modules.

Hope this helps, but give me a shout here if I've misunderstood you.
