What exactly is the ims manifest and what does it do? On SumTotal, I am unable to update SCORM content if the ims manifest of the new file is different at all from the one in the original package. My workaround is to replace the new manifest with the old one, then upload the new package. I don't know what the ims manifest does, so I don't know what the implications of this workaround might be, but in my testing, it seems to work alright.

I deleted my manifest for the same reason and my course seems to be functioning fine???
Interesting...I'll have to try that. We've just been uploading new courses and creating fulfillments, but that is pretty messy.
