Instructional design/development skills

I am looking to improve my skills regarding instructional design/development.  What are some good resources where I can find training?  I have some skills but feel even with using my LMS, I do not have the knowledge to use it to its fullest potential regarding the types of training we are creating.  We are creating courses for both internal use and external use.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
