Instructional Designer Job Posting

One of my client is looking for an instructional designer to work with them on several e-learning modules over 3 to 4 months. However, the person has to be in the New York City area. Candidates must have demonstrated successful performance in all of the following areas:

• Developing custom online training modules on topics in healthcare
• Consulting with senior level clients across the organization to identify learning and performance objectives
• Storyboarding and editing course content
• Writing medical/technical content for regulatory compliance purposes
• Collaborating with test item developer to write and validate knowledge assessments
• Collaborating with courseware developer/programmer to transition content to production-ready online format
• Leading the annual course revision cycle for 19 existing online regulatory courses
• Establishing and meeting project schedule and timeline
• Communicating weekly with MSK Project Manager on the status of the project tasks assigned

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field preferred
• Extensive background in designing effective online training content
• Located in the greater NYC/Tristate area with ability to commute to client offices in midtown Manhattan.
