The Instructional Designer provides training development, skill-building, technology-enhanced curriculum design services using current educational technology methodologies and applications.                                   

Responsibilities:

 

·         Works closely with the education and consulting teams to advance the development of technology-enhanced curriculum including online, hybrid/blended, enhanced, and face-to-face courses and instructional programs.

·         Works with cross-functional departments in developing instructional uses of technologies; identifies researches, analyzes, and evaluates new technologies for potential applications in instruction to enhance training.

·         Assists with the design, development, and implementation of training and support programs for partners to improve their use and understanding of product features.

·         Promotes the implementation of technological innovations; creates demonstrations of instructional applications of technologies.

·         Assists with the design, development, implementation and/or coordination of the development of computerized media such as instructional web pages and online courses.

·         Assists with implementing and maintaining instructional technology systems for departmental use.

·         Assists with planning and coordinating the use of new educational technologies; arranges, schedules, and conducts demonstrations of new technologies.

·         Uses emerging educational technologies to develop alternative assessment strategies to integrate into course development.

·         Evaluates current instructional technologies and communicates appropriate recommendations.

·         Identifies trends, gathers and analyzes data, and implements education development plans.

·         Assists with planning and coordinating the use of new educational technologies; arranges, schedules, and conducts demonstrations of new technologies.

 

 

Requirements:

 

·         Must have experience with Articulate Storyline.

·         Ability to work in a team environment in developing projects.

·         Proven ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects.

·         Able to translate market requirements and business objectives into changes in education strategies and content.

·         Demonstrated ability to solve problems and learn new technologies.

·         Outstanding suite of communication skills, including verbal, written and listening.

·         Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills in order to resolve or coordinate the resolution of complex problems in a flexible and logical manner.

·         Able to work constructively and independently under stress and pressure in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.

·         Able to work collaboratively with colleagues to make sound and timely decisions.

·         Able to interact positively and openly with peers, subordinates, upper-management and external business contacts.

·         Excellent proofreading and editing skills.

·         HTML experience.
