Maintenance of an eLearning module with narration changes can be timely. Would like to get ideas on if eLearning can be affective with no audio narration. Also would love to see if anyone has any examples of interactive eLearning with no narration?
This blog post by Cathy Moore is a great one to read, regarding narration. She also has many examples on her site, of eLearning without narration, that I think is very effective. Here is one.
My preference is to go without narration. There's no doubt it can be effective but if I'm trying to read I find it distracting as inevitably the narrator reads at a different pace to me.
Most of the time I also find that I absorb the information more effectively if I've read something myself, rather than just hearing it.
