Is anyone using Workday LMS?

Oct 20, 2017

Hey Gang!

I'm curious if anyone out there is using the Workday LMS? Here at GoDaddy, we're exploring the possibility of moving to Workday for our LMS vendor and we'd love to chat with anyone out there currently using it.

Let me know!

THANKS!

Tim

Quick Workday LMS questions for you all -

1. Does Workday LMS have a deep content authoring tool, one like Rise or others?

2. Could someone build courses in more of a “semester-like" format in Workday LMS, and could I attach multiple assessments to the semester and ultimately have them aggregated for a course grade automatically?

3. Could I automate some of our social learning requirements, like “forcing learners to post a comment of their own in a discussion forum, and responding to 2 other learner’s posts in the discussion forum?”

Hi All,

My company is currently assessing WD LMS (we currently use Docebo and LRN). A lot of these posts, although helpful, were 2+ years ago. Curious what the experience and perspective is now that updates have been made to WD LMS. Any good to know items or things that I wouldn't get in a demo that are important to call out?

Any help is truly appreciated.

Hi Lindsay,

Our company went from Saba LMS to Workday Learning in 2020. The course and learner data migration went very smoothly. As the LMS adminstrator for Saba, I was accustomed to making simple things like marking courses completed or adding a course that may have been missed in the migration. This is not possible in Workday without an Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), which must be done by our HRIS team and is super annoying.

It has been my experience that Workday is a Learning Application, and not an LMS. As an administrator, I find it frustrating on may levels do do basic tasks in bulk, like managing digital course completions.

Thanks,

Beverly

Hello, we've recently introduced Workday Learning as the new LMS for our company. I'm interested in understanding your approach to monitoring and generating reports when utilizing Storyline for creating quizzes. Specifically, I'm looking to access detailed information about participants' responses, including both correct and incorrect answers for each quiz item. Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
