Is it possible to add an option to review the correct answer to a quiz slide immediately after answering the question?

Is it possible to add an option to review the correct answer to a quiz slide immediately after answering the question? I have a multiple select question that appears in the middle of the course. I want learners to have the option to see the correct answer before proceeding. I would lightbox to a slide that has the correct answer, but the choices are shuffled so they won't appear in the same order.

Hi Donielle,

Not sure whether you are looking for this option.. You can set the quiz slide to view the feedback just after the question, by setting the 'Feedback' option to 'By Question' in the design tab.

Feedback by question

Then you can specify the correct answer and/or any description related to the correct answer on the 'correct' and 'incorrect' layers. If the user gives the incorrect answer, Storyline shows the incorrect layer upon submitting the question (one by one).

Further, you can completely format the layout of the incorrect/ correct layers to see them similar to the rest of the course slides.

Hi Donielle,

Perhaps you could add another button to the incorrect layer. The button is along the lines of "Show correct answer".

This button would point to a slide that looks the same as the question but is static ( so not an actual quiz), with wording such as "the correct answer is X".

The NEXT button would route the user to the next question or next slide (this setup probably won't work in a question bank).

Let if know what you come up with.

Jeff.
