Issue with triggers when using markers

Nov 15, 2017

I built a scene in Storyline 2 that uses markers to provide details on a process. Each marker contains audio walking the learner through the steps. Once the learner completes a step, the marker is changed to Visited. This functions perfectly.

The issue I'm having is that when the last marker is selected, the slide automatically advances- before the audio finishes. Which condition do I need to set up in order to force the audio to complete for that specific marker?

As of now, I have set it up so that the slide advances when all markers are visited and the timeline has ended. I've played with many other options with no success. If I set it to "when media completes" it adds the media to the timeline rather than using the media within the marker.

Hi Janis,

If you want to do it privately you can upload it to our Support team here. Or, if you want, you can upload the file directly to the discussion here. If there's content that you can't share, perhaps just duplicate the single slide in question and remove any content thats proprietary if you can? :) If you can't I understand.
