Jazz up your course with dramatic scenarios - a demo
Apr 28, 2012
Hi Everyone,
There's nothing that wakes the dead in the middle of a boring course like a dramatic real-world scenario.
Here's an example of a simulated slip and fall that I shot on location for an Organizational Health & Safety course.
I added the dramatic music, sound effects, slow motion - the agony was simulated - it may make you smile - no one was hurt in the making of this scene.
Adding an in-your-face question to the end of the scenario is a great way to lead into the next section of the course.
As always, feedback from fellow Articulate pros and users is very welcome, so do jump right in and let me know what you think...
Thanks!

Hey Roland,
If you don't mind, could you share the tutorial of this clip?
I assume you use After Effect. Am I right?
I really like caution tape is rolling smoothly. How did you that?
Hi there, Is there any chance of updating the link to this example? I want to show a customer how impactful this type of intro can be
Hi Michelle! Since this is an older thread, I'm not sure Roland is still subscribed here. But since you're looking for impactful intros, I wanted to chime in and share this article on the topic: 10 E-Learning Attention-Getters That Really Work. It's packed full of some really inspiring examples. I hope that sparks some new ideas!
Thanks Sarah, There are a couple in the post you linked which will help. I appreciate your response
Oh, yay! I'm glad that helped, Michelle! I hope everything goes well with your customer!
