JIT Debugging Error issue solved

Hi,

http://www.articulate.com/forums/articulate-presenter/19951-unhandled-exception-has-occurred-your-application.html

The links given will lead you to an issue which has been faced by Articulate users regularly, i.e. the JIT Debugging error. It has been mentioned even before that this is in someway related to Microsoft .Net Framework application where it has been advised that the application be installed newly. But this has not turned fruitful (me included!). I received the JIT Debugging error while working with the Audio Editor.

Now, i believe that a solution is available.

We tried this on a Windows 7 OS machine where Articulate has been installed.

Firstly, uninstall the Anti-virus on your machine.

Now, go to Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows Feature on or off.

Under this, look for the Microsoft .Net Framework application and expand it. You will find two other options namely, Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation and Windows Communication Foundation Non-HTTP Activation. Enable both these options and then restart the machine.

Open the presentation and then see whether the issue is appearing.

Request all those facing this issue to follow the directions given above and check whether the same JIT Debugging error is appearing.

Thanks in advance.

Aditya
