Can anyone point me in the direction of a laptop screen that I can use as a container to display stuff. Something similar to using blackboard as a container but instead of blackboard, I want to use a monitor.
We had this conversation a little while back. It seemed that the answer then was "No issues using them, unless (like me...), you sell your output to third parties."
I wanted to do a similar thing, and found that the laptop graphic was taking up too much of my "real estate" on the page (making the information have to be smaller to compensate, and likewise seem less important)
I ended up compromising by making a "destop" image with "icons" similar to windows in order to imitate a computer without having to waste space with a container:
What I especially liked was that when I added quizmaker quizes with transparent templates (as per this tutorial) I could make them look like "open programs" on the desktop:
I don't know if maybe you could do something similar if you can't find a good enouhg laptop graphic and/or can't use clipart for copyright reasons.
@Kayla: looks great. I did something similar a few years ago. Made the screen look like a desktop and essentially converted each bullet point to "applications"

Thanks Jill and Blake for your prompt responses.
Blake, I liked the psdgraphics link that you sent. There are many cool looking graphics there. :)
I've had really good luck with http://sxc.hu Just search for monitor and/or computer http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=search&w=1&txt=monitor
These look and work great!
Hi! I am so new in all this. I would appreciate your help on this one
Since you guys were saying that you use many images from office online in your e-classes, are we allowed to use that (I mean, copyright issues)?
Thanks in advance!
