I'm having a confusing issue with layers. I have the base layer and when I want to show an item on another layer, it hides the entire base layer and shows the entire layer with the item on it.
I can't figure out where I'm going wrong - can somebody point me in the right direction? It's funny as I got it working before but now it doesn't (I had a score from a quiz on one layer to appear on the base layer without anything else from that layer showing).
If I understand correctly, you would like the items on your base layer to still appear under the item that is on your other layer.
In the bottom right corner under „Slide Layers“, click on the other layer and you will see a little cog wheel (i.e. properties). Click on that symbol. Is the check box next to „Hide objects on base layer“ checked? If it is, uncheck it and see if that solves the problem.
If not, if you would like to upload your .story file, we can take a closer look.
Hi Nick, I tend to use the timeline to show/hide particular items on the layer - there is an 'eye' icon next to each item on the timeline that you can click.
