Light vs Dark Templates

Hi Articulate Community Team!,
I was wondering if light or dark themes/templates are better depending on what you're designing?
For example, I have found that live webinars tend to be better when using light backgrounds as opposed to dark. Lighter backgrounds are easier to read for webinars for some reason.
Is there an optimal choice for Storyline projects?
Thanks in advance!

I think it's mostly a matter of preference. Although there are some considerations for accessibility. Some people have trouble with contrast and color so designing with those needs in mind is important.
Here's an article that discusses this, not e-learning but still relevant.
Thank you, Tom!
Would like to put in one further suggestion. Never, ever, put red lettering on a black background. So many people do that for emphasis, but with us older folks it's virtually impossible to read. And guess what combination they use on medicine bottle warnings???
Thank you, Melanie. These are good considerations. Medicine bottle warnings are usually black on yellow, correct?
