LMS and Wordpress

Jul 08, 2015

Hi guys. I have a wordpress site and I want to make some of my courses available online. Can anyone suggest a good LMS that can be integrated into a wordpress site, or the best way to go about offering courses online? I tried Moodle, but I didn't really find it user friendly.

Hi Cindy. The world of LMS' is vast and a bit confusing at times, but I've found that our community is generous with their input on this point, so I'm sure you'll get lots of good suggestions.

In the meantime, you may find some helpful advice in this compilation of past forum posts on the topic of LMS': https://community.articulate.com/articles/forums-compilation-learning-management-systems-lms

Hopefully there are a few nuggets of wisdom embedded here that will make your search more efficient!

Hey Cindy,

There are several WordPress plugins that are LMS'. Since you're already using and familiar with WordPress, one of them may be your best bet.

LearnDash, WP Courseware, and Sensei are all popular options, but I know there are many more beyond that. I'd take a look at the features of each and see what owrks best for you.
