LMS for e-learning developers

Hi There, 

Apologies if this topic has been featured before, but I can't find it anywhere. 

I work for a small e-learning company that provide online courses. In the past few years we've moved more and more into using Articulate to author our courses. 

We currently have a custom LMS where we host our individual articulate storyline modules and store the variables in a database. This works fine, but the lead time from publish to integration and linking to database takes too long. 

I want us to move to a simple LMS that can support storyline modules, store user variables in a db, but also enable custom learner journeys and branding for individual customers. 

Is anyone else in a similar situation and do you have any recommendations for an LMS. I've spent hours looking for something that fits with what we're looking for, but I can't seem to find an LMS that is designed for e-learning developers.
