Hi everyone! Really glad I found this forum and hope to participate by helping others and chronicling my own journey to successful LMS implementation for my organization. I went through the responses to the "what LMS are you using?" question and found them enlightening (although I still have a little way to go before deciding on a product). One requirement I have is to find an LMS which has a great payment system/gateway to accept fees for classes. Anyone using this feature in an LMS in your own organization? Which solutions have the best implementation?
I would suggest checking out the BlueVolt LMS: www.BlueVolt.com. They support ecommerce really well - we're a partner company of theirs and I can introduce you to one of their account managers if that would be useful.
In addition, if you're interested in selling courses - I work for the OpenSesame elearning marketplace - sort of like iTunes, but for elearning courses instead of songs.
