Newbie here. I'm sure there is a way, but I'm struggling to find a solution for this. How do I lock the menu so that users don't have the ability to click straight through a training to the summary page? I wouldn't mind if they want to be able to go back, but is there a feature that prevents them from moving forward?
You can go to the Story View and select each slide then turn off the slide navigation controls as needed (bottom right of the screen under Slide Properties). Then, go to the 'Player' option on the home tab and you can turn off the slide list under 'Player Tabs' so the learner can't use the slide menu to skip ahead.
In the player, select the menu option. Click the Wheel icon (Additional options) shown below. In the dialog box that appears, click the navigation restriction drop-down and select locked or restricted option.
Hi John. A colleague did this on a recent project and it actually prevented the learner to click Previous; they only had the option to click Next when it was available. However, I'm uncertain if there was another setting in place that was preventing that as well.

Hi John
here is a tutorial about customising the menu.
Just a heads up - by having a 'restricted' menu, the user is forced to wait until the timeline of a slide ends before they can click the Next button.
If that doesn't suit you here is a workaround for that behaviour
