I have been solely using Rise for the courses my company needs but I would like to expand to Storyline. Most courses have been Tutorials on how to use our internal programs that have specific interfaces.
For example, we have a Pipeline Manager software for employees to enter Prospects, and I want to show employees how to use the tool and enforce the importance of why it is helpful for their business.
Anyone have examples of something of similar nature so I could get ideas?
Hi Shelbey! David Anderson made this awesome software simulation example that has a similar concept to what you're describing. He also created this video tutorial if you'd like to learn how to create something like this in Storyline 360. I hope that gives you some ideas!
Thank you very much this is great but I feel like it already starts at a place that is farther then I understand. Do you know if there are any examples of learning how to do this from scratch?
I'd second the software simulation that Sarah suggested - to help get your head around it, run it with a bit of software that you know inside out - like emails or something. You'll then be able to work out what it's doing and what you can do with it. Honestly, it's more striahgt forward than it sounds :-)
Shelbey, I think this series of articles might help. It includes info on each of the modes and when to use them. There are also some tips to make sure you have everything prepared and ready to create a simulation. I hope that helps!
