One slide shows a video, with a progress bar. But when I play it, I can advance the progress bar. I want to mandate the user to view the video. They should not be able to advance and skip the video. How do I accomplish this? I see no controls in the player or video settings. Thanks!
Is this a local video (one that you imported from your harddrive)? If yes, then you could try putting a transparent shape over the progress bar that's part of the video controls.
I don't see how I can edit player controls. I understand if I see the local
video and playbar, I can control that one. But not the slide show playbar.
I want the user to see the player progress bar without the ability to jump
ahead in the video - but I mean the player for the package, not the video
controls (which are off). Hmm. I'll see if I can use this...
It's actually super easy to control how the seekbar works in the player controls. It sounds like in your course the best option would be to use the conditional seekbar option, which doesn't allow the user to jump ahead the first time they view the slide, but they can if they review the slide later on. Here's a tutorial that explains how to set that up.
