I wasn't sure the best place for this question. So I posted it in the Engage forum also. Sorry for the duplication. I am creating a Media Tour interaction using software screen shots. Is there a way to add annotations to screen shots in the media tour?
Engage does not currently allow annotations. If you must use annotations I would recommend creating it just in PowerPoint or depending upon what you are creating you could possibly take a look at using the Labeled Graphic interaction in Engage
You can do it a couple different ways but typically call outs are inserted when you do your video editing. The software I use to capture screens and add call-outs is Camtasia but there are other screen capture software utilities out there should be able to do this. Of course if you are using screen shots, you could use snag-it and add call-outs or you could also use the screen shot utility in Power Point, add the call-outs and take another screen shot.
Thanks for the tip. I wasn't able to capture the screens on my own, I had to use images that were taken by another department. We use snag it just for screen shots and I think you can add call outs and things then. Is what I ended up doing was taking each image and making a hot spot with each. It wasn't ideal but it works pretty well. Thanks for the help.
