Mobile Design Portrait View

Hi All,
I'm designing a mobile course for a mobile app and I need the portrait view to be the primary view. The issue I'm having is that all of the screens are built in landscape so when viewing in mobile preview everything is pushed into a rectangle in the middle of the screen. I realize that I can force the app to be viewed in landscape but the actual app that I'm replicating will be used in portrait view by the learners. Is there a way I can design in portrait view so that the output is the same? See attached for visual.

Hi Beth, you can go to the design tab in Storyline and change the story size height and width dimensions to something more suitable for viewing in portrait. For example the viewport dimensions on an iPhone 8 when viewing in portrait are something like width: 414 and height 622.
If you do decide to try this, I suggest making the change to a copy of your story file because you might have to adjust the content on your slides to fit the new size. Storyline will try to scale the content according, but there is using some reword required.
Thanks for the info, Nancy! Beth, I'm working on the same type of project. How did you set yours up?
