I am new to using Articulate but was trialling using a survey question format over several slides in Storyline. I have looked through the tutorials but can't see any information about how if I have a group of students complete the survey, I can collect the responses for the total group to review and share as graphs etc? Is this possible using these products?
You can create surveys in Storyline, but to get the results you'll need to put them in an LMS. Depending on the LMS you choose, you'll be able to see the results in different formats (charts, graphs, etc.)
If you don't have an LMS, there is an alternative which I use time to time.
Create a survey on Google forms or another survey provider, and add it as a web object. I used typeform for one project since it gives you more freedom while designing it. One downside of it is people can be a little impatient while it is opening, and give up filling it in.

Here are some resources that will help guide you in choosing an LMS.
