I have some mp4 video that I need to chop into smaller videos. The video is fine until I use the Encoder and turn it into Flash. It looks grainy and blurry once it is in my project. Any suggestions? I also tried cutting the mp4 video in Windows Moviemaker and then dropping in the Encoder, but it still has very blurry quality. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!
If you have native MP4 video, you should be able to just drop that right into either Studio, or Storyline with no need to convert them to Flash. You may find that this gives you better quality.
Thanks for your suggestion. I have to trim the mp4 into smaller clips, so I use the encoder to do that and then publish the clips. I also have used Movie Maker to trim the files, but then when I place them in the Encoder, the quality changes dramatically.

This is a workaround I have found you may want to try.
Starting with a high quality MP4 source file that you've dropped into Storyline.
