Feb 09, 2011

For example I ant to animate the appearance of an object - then highlight it later and finally make it dissapear.

Hi Shayne - Greetings from Phoenix

Sure it's possible.

Add an animation like you normally would, and then add a second animation. You have to be sure to select your object before you add the second animation.

By default, both animations will be set to On Click. Change the second animation to "With Previous" so it plays "with" the first animation.

I attached a quick sample for you to look at.

Hi Shane,

I'm guessing you're working in PowerPoint 2007? PPT2007 is a little confusing and I still asking the same question.

Here's a quick screencast on the process: https://player.vimeo.com/video/204930057

To add multiple animations:

1. Select your object

2. Click Animations > and select an animation

3. From the menu bar, click Custom Animations to open the Animation pane

4. With the graphic selected, click Add Effect from the Animation pane. The object must be selected to view Add Effect. If the object is not selected, the Add Effect button will be a Change button which lets you change your current animations.

PowerPoint does a better job w/its UI in 2010. I hope that helps but please feel free to post back if you have questions.

David
