Multiple clicks on a hotspot

Dec 06, 2016

Hi. I'm trying to create an exercise where i have an organogram as a large image on the screen with 4 roles highlighted. Underneath, i want to present a series (16) individual descriptions one at a time that describe what each of the 4 roles does. The user then needs to read the description and select the correct role for the description. Once that happens, the next description appears and then learner then selects the correct role for that description. This goes on for another 14 descriptions.

I have built something similar as a drag and drop exercise but cannot figure out how to do this as a multiple click hotspot which has multiple answers. Has anyone done this before?

I also need to present the answers in ranges, so first attempt scores 0-4 gets a certain screen, 5-9 gets another and 10-15 gets another and 16 another. I think i have cracked this by using variables and layers. It's just the clickable roles i need help with. Any ideas?

I did think about that already but i'm not sure how seamless the timed element would be. I've built a 'bank' of questions and forced it to look at all 16. Just wanted to see if there was another way that i didn't think of. The drag and drop already exists as i built that version already. Thank you for taking the time to reply :)

You might also be interested in looking at the JavaScript example I posted recently. You could show the user all 16 descriptions in a random order. If they click the right description, they won't see it again. If they click the wrong 1, they see some information to help them understand the right choice and it remains "in the deck" so they will see it again.  Take a look here if this sounds interesting. LINK to POST
