New version of SL?

Hi All,
Not sure whether this is the correct forum to ask this question, but I shall try and test the water.
I have finally convinced my new company to buy SL, but the price is a bit hefty. I am all for having upgrades, but if the upgrade is going to happen in the next few months, there is no use in purchasing something. So my question is : Do any of you know when the next release will be?
I'd rather let us save money so I can buy other things than purchase the bundle which includes the upgrade over the next year. In the mean time I can use my copy from home until the new release will be out and at least we will have a year until the next possible upgrade will be and we will have some good use and possibly have the funds by then to get the upgrade.

As far as I know, Storyline V2 is still far off. There are minor updates/upgrades every once in a while, however those are all free

My guess is the new version is a ways off, too. Articulate wisely protects release dates so the only way you are gonna know when it's released is when its released.
I'd say go ahead and buy. After all, it takes sometime to get really comfortable with it.
